Independence Day Celebration 2009
Indonesian Independence day was a great challenge for the big family of St. Joseph International School last 15th August 2009. We conducted several games to support the closer relationship among fathers, mothers, their children and the school. We do thank all parents and students who participated in the whole programs on that day. Such moments like this strengthens communication and relationship between parents and school.

St Joseph International School visited Kebun Raya Bogor on 29th August, 2008
On Friday, the 29th of August 2008, students of the Kindergarten 1 UP TO Primary 3 went to Bogor Botanical Garden. We departed from school with bus at 8:45 am and arrived in Bogor around 9:45 am. We also had food shared from Aurelia’s father which were bread and mineral water.(Thank you, Sir ! ) Ms. Hanna was the tour leader of that day. First stop we visited the tomb of Lady Raffles memorial near the entrance gate. There were many huge trees and most of them are over than 100 years old.
After seeing beautiful gardens, we visited the Zoological Museum. We found many interesting preserved animals such as anoa, birds, many kind of insects and fishes. We also saw a real blue whale’s bone. It is as big as our bus that we rode in. It reminds us how Jonah lived in a tummy of a whale. After we visited the museum, it was time to have our lunch. We all had a good meal.
The last stop was the Mexican Garden where we saw many types of cactus. Not too long after that, it was time to go home. We arrived safely back to school at around 3:30 pm. We had an exhausting day, but it was fun and learning experience.
